Microsoft Confirms There is no “final” or RTM Version of Windows 10

Latest Windows 10 Build 10240 will also be the last version according to all previous information, which will be officially published on July 29, 2015 by Microsoft. The tester called Windows insiders have already received this version, which contains no watermarks and no expiration date. But the fact that this is the “final” version of Windows 10 or a “release-to-manufacturing” – acts or “gold” version, Microsoft has not answered yet. The reports of Microsoft expert Paul Thurrott on his blog, which has received an appropriate response to request of the company.

Previously Microsoft had given a lot of effort to celebrate a RTM version. So, basically just a RTM version of  a particular build of Windows was simply to get the PC manufacturer before the actual publication and for which there still are later updates.

Build 10240 of Windows 10 meets these points, but because the operating system is already in the hands of users, also have more updates received troubleshooting and constantly to be extended, it is probably from the perspective of Microsoft just is not a final, RTM – or Gold version. By the way Windows 10 makes even the usual appointment (General Availibility) the “general availability” unusable. The operating system will indeed be published on 29 July 2015, but “in waves, so not every user who is upgrade-eligible.
